Are you planning to travel to Les Saintes from Trois-Rivières? Are you hesitating to take Karu'Ferry?
You've come to the right place, as I go there quite often. I live in Guadeloupe, so I can easily advise you on the various shipping companies that go to Les Saintes, especially Karu'Ferry. I tried it out when we were putting the finishing touches to the new edition of our Take me to Guadeloupe guide.
In addition to transporting passengers for leisure tourism, Karu'Ferry really wants to offer the people of Saint-Sauveur a practical solution for their daily lives, with a regular shuttle service between its 2 inhabited islands, Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas. I think it's great, and I'll talk about it below.

My overall opinion of Karu'Ferry
I took the Karu'Ferry shipping company on 2 occasions. The first time, to Terre-de-Bas. Then, Terre-de-Haut, another week. I really like their way of communicating, clear and attractive, with colors that make you want to travel 😍. Their website is well done, with clear and interesting publications on social networks.

In the field, it's the same. Boarding is smooth, ticket control on arrival on board.
As for punctuality, I've never been disappointed.
Finally on the crew sideThe thing I really liked was the warm welcome throughout the crossing. I've often read this positive point in reviews left by passengers. A plus that makes all the difference. It's the same for the staff at the point of sale.

Which islands does Karu'Ferry go to?
As you can see, Karu'Ferry currently serves Les Saintes : Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas. Departure is from Trois-Rivières.
If you're unfamiliar with Guadeloupe, Trois-Rivières is actually located to the southeast of the island of Basse-Terre. It's for this reason that you have to leave early in the morning if you sleep in Grande-Terre. We have a lot of traffic jams with a limited number of roads.

How much does a boat ticket to Les Saintes with Karu'Ferry cost? Where can I buy them?
Karu'Ferry's prices are very attractive, as a round trip for each island from €17.
If you live in Guadeloupe, well, it makes you want to travel to Les Saintes often for a small price. For those who live south of Basse-Terre, at that price, you might as well spend a full day there regularly on your weekends 😄.
If you're coming to visit our Guadeloupe islands, well, at that price, why not go to Les Saintes? 😉😄
My advice is simple: buy your tickets online on the official Karu'Ferry website. You can also buy them on site, but I strongly advise against it. On certain days of the year, arriving at the Trois-Rivières parking lot is an obstacle course. It's very crowded.
You could miss your boat, if you also have to go to the point of sale. In addition, some rotations may be fully booked at certain times of the year, for example on August 15 with the Fête Patronale des Saintes.
🏨 For excursions to Les Saintes, I highly recommend this walk if you're staying for several days. You can also try your hand at sailing.

2 daily rotations from Trois-Rivières . This is generally the case for all shipping companies to Les Saintes.
If you're not used to taking the boat to Les Saintes, note that if you are travelling to Terre-de-Haut from Trois-Rivièresyou'll make a quick stop in Terre-de-Bas. Some passengers get off, others get on. It's the same for the return trip to Trois-Rivières. If you are in Terre-de-Basyou'll pass through Terre-de-Haut.
All this to tell you that it is normal that the crossing from Trois-Rivières to Terre-de-Bas takes just 25 minutesFor Terre-de-Haut, it takes 50 minutes, including the stop in Terre-de-Bas.
