Whether you want to admire the sunset, stroll along the cliffs or simply relax in the dry forest, this is the place to be.
The Pointe de la Grande Vigie is a truly unforgettable experience, with a breathtaking view over the Caribbean Sea.
FORT FLEUR D'EPEE, LE GOSIER
In Gosier, after driving to the top of the hill, you'll find yourself at Fort Fleur d'Epée, a place steeped in history just a few minutes from the town centre. Creole Beach Hotel & Spa.

Built to defend the city of Pointe-à-Pitre from English attack, Fort Fleur d'Epée is a listed historic monument. The views from here are truly breathtaking, and the peace and quiet on site very relaxing.
You won't get bored with the buildings to visit, and maybe you'll have the chance to go there during an exhibition.
Tip: get up early to enjoy most of the viewpoints mentioned in my article, before the other visitors arrive.
ANSE DU SOUFFLEUR, PORT-LOUIS
Our beach in northern Grande-Terre. We live about twenty minutes away by car, which explains why we call it "The Beach". our poole ". We're often there with the family for a quick dip in the sea. When the view is clear, the vistas are really beautiful.
One of the best ways to explore this beautiful beach is to go this unlicensed jet ski activity to see the northwest coast of Grande-Terre and the islands of the Grand-Cul-de-sac Marin bay.
If this is your first trip to Guadeloupe, you absolutely must put the plage du Souffleur in Port-Louis on your list of things to do.
POINTE DES CHATEAUX, SAINT-FRANCOIS
A listed and of course protected site, among the most visited and adored in Guadeloupe. It lies to the east of Grande-Terre. It is located in the commune of Saint-François.
I think it can be visited in several ways, as there is a choice of trails for all levels, and various opportunities to stop off at remarkable spots.
My favorite trail is the one that leads to the Cross at the summit. The views are amazing!

AT THE TOP OF THE SLAVE STEPS, PETIT-CANAL
At Petit-Canal in northern Grande-Terre, at the top of the Marches des esclaves - a must-see in Grande-Terre - another symbolic site, you'll have a lovely view of the fishing port. At sunset, believe me, it's memorable.
