In the commune of Petit-Bourg

The electric train tour (Valombreuse Express)
This is the place to start your visit to the Jardin de Valombreuse. After collecting your tickets at the entrance, wait for the Valombreuse Express, which takes you around the garden. An electric 100% train. As well as being fun for children and adults alike, it tells the story of the garden with many interesting anecdotes.
The Creole garden
Just a few metres from the entrance, the Creole garden offers a true immersion in our culture. If you're not familiar with the principle, or if you'd like to brush up on your knowledge of aromatic plants, medicinal plants or plants dedicated to the design of traditional dishes, then you'll be delighted!

Magguy's house
My favorite n°1 for its Creole architecture, reminiscent of the Guadeloupe of yesteryear. Inside, as outside, everything is carefully considered. The philodendrons, painted like works of art, are sublime in the central vase.
Children's playground
I was pleasantly surprised by the children's playground. It's really big. For families in Guadeloupe looking for activities, you'll get your money's worth.
I visited the park with my 8-year-old stepdaughter. Between the little 100% electric train, the garden paths full of surprises and the playground, she had a great time.
This area features slides, swings and a large, well-maintained indoor playroom.
View from the Clerodendrum shelter
Continuing along the path past Magguy's House, you'll come across a shelter offering a superb view of the lake. In the distance, you'll see the pretty giant hummingbird, Magguy's house, a heart with surrounding vegetation. It's photogenic and soothing.

Porcelain Rose Alley
The Porcelain Rose is my favorite flower in Guadeloupe. The Valombreuse garden invites you to stroll down an avenue lined with porcelain roses. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of hummingbirds.
